What we collect
When you send the quote form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, and, if you give them, your email address and details of the job. We also record your IP address, browser type and the page you sent the form from, to prevent spam and abuse.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and prepare a quote, and if you go ahead, to carry out and invoice the work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which processes information about your device to detect bots. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how the website is used; these set cookies and collect anonymised usage data. Our website hosting provider stores the data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and for no longer than two years after our last contact unless we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
